If you are an expert at worrying, then you could be an expert at prayer. Worry takes as much meditation and thought as prayer. So, the time we spend on worry could be better spent on time with prayer.
Worrying is talking with yourself. Prayer is talking with God. God is probably smarter than I am. So, if I am talking to myself, my will is giving me the answers. If I am talking with God, then He is giving me answers and advice.
The Bible says in Matthew 6:25-34 that God will take care of all of our needs, so we should not worry about anything. Use prayer as an opportunity to discuss your worries with God.
If we could just give all of our worries to God through prayer, then we could use prayer to handle everything.
